This is also a wonderful time to create special mother and baby and/or

father and baby portraits.

You are the most important people in the world to your baby at this time.

Best times for this session are
between two weeks and six weeks old.

Baby's First Year
An infant changes so much during the first year.
Each phase of development is an opportunity
to capture enduring memories and important
milestones. Experience the joy of knowing
you are capturing those unique and fleeting
moments.

Three portrait sessions included:

at four months – tummy poses, sweet
expressions, becoming aware of the
world around them and beginning
to interact with favorite rattles, toys
and stuffed animals. Bring along a special
blanket or afghan that baby has been given.

at eight months – baby should be sitting up
independently and may be even standing
while holding on to something. These moments
are full of giggles and smiles. Clothing should be
kept simple. Diaper covers, bloomers, overalls, and
tiny tulle skirts are perfect for this session.

and at twelve months – baby is standing alone or taking
a few steps. Now the fun really begins! Clothing can
be simple or the baby can be all dressed up. Bring a
few outfits, and we can choose the ones that will work
best for your series. Don’t forget to ask about
our birthday cake series.

- Included in the first year series is a panel of three
images. Your choice of one image from each
session will be put together in an image mat to
showcase your child’s first year.

- The family, a parent/parents or siblings can be
included in a few poses for one of the sessions.

Birthday Club

A yearly session for your child to record each milestone –ages one through sixteen.

Commemorate the day by including, in the portrait session,
special gifts received and special party outfits.
Portray what they’re involved in each year – first school days, first puppy or kitten, precious artwork, collections, baseball, fishing, dance, mini 4 wheeler, tennis, etc.
Later, when they’re all grown up, you won’t have to ask yourself the question…
”Now how old were they when they did that?”

becker.s loves working with children. Whether

you are looking for something simple and

timeless, or bold and contemporary, becker.s

will create a unique studio or on-location session

just for you. We will plan your session with a

complimentary pre-session consultation either

by phone, in person at the studio, or at your

home, to discuss designing a portrait session

customized to your needs. Our children’s

signature portraits can be done either in your

child’s environment, on location, or indoors or

outdoors in our comfortable studio environment.

We seek to find the individuality and personality

of each child, focusing on what is unique and

special. We allow your children to play, laugh,

cry, dance and run…to let kids be kids.
